The Guthrie Center City Council met on Monday. 

The Council discussed but did not take action on the possibility of raising the rate of residential garbage services $2 after their contract with Ron and Sally Disposal went up. The Council tabled the resolution for the pretreatment agreement with the Guthrie County Ag Society for further evaluation of the details of the agreement. The Council got an update on the Guthrie County Arts Council starting the construction of the musical playground at Mitchell Park.
