One thing that comes with the end of another Panorama Panthers High School athletic season means saying goodbye to some of the teams seniors.
For Panthers Baseball their season ended with a 7-0 loss to the Greene County Rams in the first round of district play this year. With the conclusion of the season four seniors have played their last games for Panorama in Austin Block, Austin Wetzel, Brice Taylor and Jackson Peasley. Coach Brian Bahrenfuss says the seniors provided a good role model for the younger players on the team by having a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
“All four were good examples for the underclassmen and they were a pleasure to work with. Coach Little and I are blessed each year to work with these young individuals and have fun being around the game and these young people and these four were top-notch individuals with high character.”
Each of the seniors provided a spark to the Panorama Panthers Baseball team throughout their career Bahrenfuss talks about what each of these seniors provided throughout their career as well as the 2022 season this year.
“Each of them brought a positive attitude, strong work ethic, they were good role models for the younger guys.”
While the team will be saying goodbye to its four seniors here in the offseason there are plenty of players who will be bringing back a wealth of experience to the ball diamond next year as the overall 2022 roster had 17 players and 13 of those will be looking to return to the diamond next year for Panthers Baseball.
The Panorama Panthers Baseball team finished their season with an overall record of 7-17 and falling in the first round of districts to the Greene County Rams but will be looking to come back strong and play ball once again in the 2023 season.
