The Stitch

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday for a Jeffferson business.

The Stitch recently moved from its previous location on Lincoln Way, next to the Greene County Historical Museum, to the former Pizza Ranch location on North Wilson Avenue. The Jefferson Matters Ambassadors gathered for the official ribbon cutting, signifying the business is completely moved in and settled in its new spot.

Owner Tracy Bosshart describes what intrigued her the most about the former Pizza Ranch building that was renovated by the City of Jefferson.

“We felt like we wanted to be someplace where there was more foot traffic

The business has three sections to it, including the south bay as a meeting and class space, the middle bay is for general fabric and knitting supplies, and the north bay is additional and seasonal fabrics. Bosshart is planning a public open house next month.
