A brief thunderstorm came through portions of Greene County Tuesday evening.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northeastern Greene County at 6:08pm. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Severe Weather Action Team brought live coverage of the storm until it expired at 7pm. The main threat was 60 miles per hour winds and heavy rainfall. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reported no immediate damage following the storm.
There were three Raccoon Valley Radio staff, Weatherology Meteorologists and the sheriff’s office included with the Severe Weather Action Team. The one to count on for severe weather coverage is the Raccoon Valley Radio Network.
