Tuesday, July 5th
2:50am: An officer located an Open Overhead Door at 1001 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer secured the business after checking inside.
5:41am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Oakland Ave. resulted in Gerado Aguilar Ballester of Bloomfield being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
6:46am: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Raymond Zapita of TX. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
6:58am: Officers assisted Jefferson Fire with an electrical fire in a garage at 906 South Elm Street. The fire was extinguished quickly and the building suffered minimal damages.
9:06am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 Block of South Cedar Street for, “Parking Between the Lot Line and Curb Line.”
9:17am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 200 Block of South Cedar Street for, “Parking Between the Lot Line and Curb Line.”
9:47am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street for, “Parking Between the Lot Line and Curb Line.”
9:56am: Angela Milakovich reported a suspicious Male sitting in a vehicle near Cedar and Reed Streets. The officer spoke with the subject, who was sitting and waiting on a phone call.
2:19pm: A Traffic Stop near 220th and American Ave. resulted in Jaqueline Wooge-Weister of Grand Junction being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
2:20pm: Ann Nyberg reported she had not received the correct change form a $50.00 Bill from A&W. The business advised she had given them a $20.00 Bill. The officer is investigating.
6:13pm: A Traffic Stop at Central and Walnut Streets resulted in John Case of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:38pm: Michelle Christian reported missing personal items from 107 North Grimmell Road. She advised she believed a family member was responsible, but had no proof. She decided not to make a formal complaint and handle the issue on her own.
