AC/GC baseball gets a bye and will await their match for postseason play but Coach Taylor Morris says they need to take this six day break and focus on themselves.

He says after finishing the regular season on a four game losing streak, it was time to go back re group with his team and practice.

“I think it is. We really need some practice, so we’re able to practice, like I said last night, tonight, and we’ll practice on the fourth. So it gives us three practices before we play a game. And our guys needed that. We had been about two weeks now, just the way the schedule aligned that we didn’t have practice with some rainout dates and some other dates, that we did some things, but it be good for us. We really focused on some our weaknesses last night and like I said, we, like I said, I think was our best practice last night.”

ACGC will play at Van Meter in the Quarterfinal and Raccoon Valley will broadcast the game with first pitch at 5pm.
