A reminder of some 4th of July entertainment today in Greene County.

Everyone is invited to Churdan for the “Treats and Tunes” in the city park. The Churdan Library will be serving ice cream sundaes, brownie a la modes or root beer floats for a free will donation starting at 6:30pm. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for the library’s ongoing programming and operating expenses. The Town and Country Band will then perform a patriotic concert at 7pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the “Treats and Tunes” event in Churdan. 

Then at dusk, there will be a free fireworks display at Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson. The City of Jefferson is once again partnering with Wild Rose, in which people can watch the display for free from the casino’s parking lot.
