Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center summer sports close out the regular season Wednesday night.
The Lady Charger softball team ended on a high note winning two close games against Madrid in a double header by one run, the score was 6 to 5 in both games. ACGC softball ended the regular winning their last six out of 10 games which is quite the turn around after starting the season losing their first 10 games. Their final record going into the postseason will be (8-18) overall and a conference record of (6-14). The Lady Chargers will face against Panorama tomorrow and that game can be heard on True Country K107.9, game time will be 7pm at the Guthrie Center Softball Complex.
Charger baseball lost 7 to 4 in a road matchup against Atlantic. They will enter the postseason with a four game losing streak and an overall record of (10-19) and a conference record of (6-15). The Chargers will face the winner of West Central Valley or Woodward-Granger on July 5th in Van Meter.
