Greene County veterans are invited to see a free movie later this week in Jefferson.

The Greene County Veterans Commission and Greene County Veterans Affairs are teaming up to host a free showing of “Top Gun: Maverick” at the Sierra Community Theatre Thursday at 2pm. County Veterans Affairs Director Michael Bierl tells Raccoon Valley Radio veterans can be treated to the movie, along with a free small popcorn and drink, which is sponsored by the State Veterans Outreach Grant. He adds there will be a short briefing after the movie about new information on veteran benefits.

No pre-registration is necessary and walk-ins are welcomed.
