The Perry Chamber of Commerce recently received the funds that were raised during the Grocery Bill Roundup for the Fourth of July Fireworks Drive. 

From May 23rd through May 30th, Hy-Vee and Fareway asked customers to round up their total grocery bill at the register as part of the annual fireworks drive. After the fundraising ended Perry Hy-Vee raised $1,000 and Perry Fareway raised $1,189. 

Those funds, along with other contributions from the Big Boom Bracket Battle and Radio Pie Auction the Chamber was able to raise $17,953 with the last fundraising venture being the Bucket Brigade during the Fourth of July Parade this year.  

After successfully reaching their goal for the Fireworks Drive this year the remaining funds in the Fireworks Drive will be carried over into the 2023 fireworks show.
