PCM softball won their second straight game this week defeating Perry 12-2 in a six inning mercy rule game Wednesday night at the PAC. The Jayettes defeated PCM earlier this year in Prairie City but last night was a different story. The Mustangs jumped out early scoring seven runs in the third inning to grab an 8-0 lead. They added four more runs in the sixth to end the game early.
Belle Hudnut led the PCM 16 hit attack with five hits while junior Riley Johannes smashed a two-run homerun. PCM improves to 12-9 on the season while Perry falls to 10-10.
The Jayettes will host Madrid Friday night at the PAC.
