The PCM baseball team continued their hot stretch Wednesday night defeating Perry 14-4 in a five inning mercy rule game.  The Mustangs pounded out 12 hits on three different Perry pitchers.  Easton Webb led the offense with three hits and three RBI’s.  Durant Van Dyke added 4 RBI’s while 8th grader Shay Burns picked up his first varsity win.  The young right hander enjoyed a successful debut tossing 4 1/3 innings of seven hit ball.

Perry showed some signs of life offensively led by sophomore catcher Kain Killmer.  Killmer finished his two hits including his team leading third double of the season.  Geren Kenney and Juan Hernandez added RBI hits in the second inning while Drake Levan brought in a run with a base hit in the third.

Gavin Hegstrom was tagged with the loss for Perry.

PCM improves to 8-3 in the Heart of Iowa while Perry falls to 1-15 overall and 1-10 in the conference.  The Bluejays will host West Central Valley Stuart Friday night.
