ADM Tigers girls softball had another Raccoon River Conference softball game on Tuesday night against the Gilbert Tigers, and ADM was able to put up five runs in the third and fifth innings to run away and win by the score of 10-0 in five innings. ADM moves to 23-2 on the season and Gilbert will be at 9-11.
ADM was able to send nine batters to the plate in the third inning, as they were able to get an RBI double from Kaylee Smith and Addison Banse, as the Tigers were able to get up to 5-0. The Tigers were very aggressive in the fifth, as they were able to take advantage of a couple of Gilbert errors and open up the lead to end the game early.
Aliya Yanga was able to pitch four scoreless innings grabbing seven strikeouts, while Cameron Smith was able to throw another scoreless inning. ADM pitching didn’t give up any hits or baserunners on the night.
ADM will be back in action tonight when they take on the Comets of North Polk on the road. First pitch will be happening at 7:30.
