Dallas Center – Grimes baseball and softball are both back on the field tonight, when Indianola comes to town in an intriguing games for both teams.

In softball, DCG is 18-5 and Indianola is 15-7, while in baseball 11-12 and Indianola is 17-7.

DCG softball was able to win the first matchup between the two teams earlier in June 7-3, with DCG winning a key game in a series that has historically gone back and forth. Both teams possess great offenses, Indianola averaging 7.5 runs per game and DCG 6.3.

Baseball was able to win 4-3 in the first game, and have been able to get some great pitching performances throughout the season. That will be key against an Indianola offense that puts up 6.6 runs per game.

Both games will be played in Grimes, with both to begin at 5:30, as key Little Hawkeye Conference wins are on the line.
