Many Guthrie Center entities are coming together to have a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new park improvement project. 

The Guthrie Center Parks and Recreation Board partnered with the City Street Development Department and the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library to put a permanent story walk structure in the Raccoon Riverside Park. 

The story walk will promote family time, physical activity and reading. The grand opening and first story walk will take place at the park on Monday, June 20th from 4:30-5:30pm.
