A partnership between the Dallas County Hospital and Purdue University Global School of Nursing will bring a state-of-the-art simulator to the hospital.
The simulation center will consist of two large and high-fidelity suites that will be used to mock hospital rooms with audio and video capabilities, a master control room, two conference rooms, a skills lab practice room among other areas.
Also, the simulation center will use manikins that include infant, child, birthing mother as well as adults. The organizations will also work together to create simulation experiences where multiple health care professionals will practice patient and family care together.
