The Dallas County Conservation Board will be offering a free fun program on Tuesday where people can see the sunset on the longest day of the year.
The Board is inviting participants to come out to the astronomical clock at Hanging Rock in Redfield on Tuesday from 8-9 p.m. to celebrate the sunset of the summer solstice. There is no registration required and everyone is welcome to attend.
Those attending will get to learn the science behind the solstice and be part of the celebration by joining in with a song with a drum at sunset.
