The Stuart Good Egg Days “Old Places, New Faces” starts with a fundraiser and many activities today.
The events will get going this afternoon at 5pm with the Stuart American Legion Feed which will serve burgers, chips and a dessert option at the shelter in Lawbaugh Park with a free will donation.
Also, at 5pm there will be egg-spress barrel train rides and free inflatables in Lawbaugh Park. Next, at 6pm there will be the kiddie parade at the Gazebo along with kiddie water fights at the Lawbaugh Park and a bags tournament on Northeast 2nd Street.
Then at 6:30pm the little stinker/stinkette, grand marshal, citizen of the year and father of the year will be awarded at the Gazebo. A couple activities will begin at 7pm with the baby contest at the Gazebo with registration at 6:30pm and then the Jim Kloewer alumni baseball game will start at the Jim Kloewer Baseball Field. Finally, to close Friday night there will be music from Oreo Meatwagon and a beer garden from 9am until 1am.
