Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers softball will be on the hunt for another win this evening when they make the trip up to Boone to take on the Toreadors in Raccoon River Conference play. ADM is 17-1 while Boone is 5-9, the Tigers lead the Raccoon River Conference with a spotless 7-0 record.
ADM was able to grab a win over Boone earlier in the season 5-0 on opening night, with Aliya Yanga only giving up 1 hit and grabbing 17 strikeouts in the shutout.
ADM is averaging 6.1 runs per game and only giving up 1.6 runs per game, while Boone is scoring a bunch at 5.9 runs per game but giving up 7.9 runs per game.
Tiger softball leads the overall series 15-10, with ADM winning nine of the last eleven games between the two teams.
First pitch will be at 7:30, as the Tigers will look to complete the season sweep against a tough team.
