Tonight is the second of two Heart of Iowa Activities Conference softball meetings between Greene County and Roland-Story. The Norsemen took game one by a 5-2 score in Jefferson late last month, and the Rams will be trying to even the series in Roland.

Coach Tom Kennedy’s Rams are 5-8 overall and 3-5 in the conference after Friday night’s 5-0 home loss to undefeated Saydel (Des Moines). The loss snapped the Rams’ three game winning streak within the HOIAC. After tonight, Greene County is home with South Hamilton (Jewell) on Wednesday, June 15 in a 7:30 p.m. contest on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com, and they host Ogden in non-conference play on Friday night.

Roland-Story is 5-4 on the season and 4-2 in the league.
