The Little Panther Daycare Center had an open house along with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion of their new daycare facility addition Saturday morning.

The Little Panther Daycare Center added 1,440 square feet to their center that will increase their overall capacity by 15 children, from 75 children to 90 children.  Assistant Director Brooke Ramsey says this project took roughly seven months to construct.

“It’s been a long awaited journey. We’ve talked about this for a long time. And just to see it finally done, it’s it’s a little surreal. But like, our minds are finally at ease. And it’s a lot of stress off our plates, that’s for sure.”

She says this expansion will help Little Panther enroll new families into the center and shorten the waiting list.
