Shawn Galbraith, Granger, was following a school bus driven by Paul Thompson, Woodward, when the bus backed up, hitting Ms. Galbraith’s car.  Mr. Thompson was not aware he had struck the vehicle.  No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Galbraith’s vehicle was estimated at $8000.  Damage to the bus was estimated at $100.

June 9

Michael Fischer, Ankeny, was driving a truck for Ankeny Sanitation in the 33000 block of E. Trail Ridge Circle.  An excavator, that had just been loaded onto a flatbed semi, was adjusting the machinery on the semi, when it collided with the sanitation truck.  There were no injuries reported and damage to the sanitation truck was estimated at $2000.  Damage to the excavator was estimated at $2000.

June 10

Geoffrey McBurney, age 35, 219 Pin Oak Ct, Norwalk, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Burglary 3rd degree – Motor Vehicle and Theft 4th Degree.

June 11

James McGonegle, age 22, 2309 Knapp Street, Ames, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Speeding.

Dakota Kever, age 21, 24 River Vista Dr, Adel, was arrested for Driving While Barred.

June 12

Julio Ruiz, age 19, 1421 5th St. Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violated ProbationTerms.  The original charge was Domestic Abuse Assault.
