The Des Moines Iron Man Triathlon will be making its way through southern Dallas County on Sunday and motorists should be aware of some of the closures. 

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office between 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday traffic will be significantly impacted in the areas of 360th Street, L Avenue and Old Highway 6. 

Drivers will be able to go east on 360th Street and South on L Avenue and then north on Old Highway 6 and back east. The bike ride portion will be taking part on the other side of the roadway and motorists will not be allowed on those parts of the roadway.
