The ADM Tigers softball team had to come from behind to pick up their 13th win of the season.
The Tigers were back at home against a very good Carlisle team. It was a battle of the top two teams of the Raccoon River Conference. These teams didn’t disappoint. Carlisle opened the scoring in the third inning. It was due to a huge home run from Lauren McGruff that put the Wildcats up 2-0.
ADM didn’t respond until the bottom of the fourth. They notched in two runs and tied it up 2-2. The deciding factor game came from ADM Freshmen Madi James. She hit a ball deep into left field that led to two Carlisle errors. The Tigers put two in to make 4-2. However, James wasn’t finished, she managed to get across home plate herself and make the game 5-2.
ADM continues to stay perfect on the year. They improve to 13-0 and they’re 7-0 in the Raccoon River Conference.
