The ADM baseball team finally hit the field on Thursday night. This is the first game of the week for the Tigers after their game on Monday was postponed due to weather.
ADM was back at home to take on Carlisle. This was a game between the top two teams in the Raccoon River Conference. As expected it was close game. Both teams managed to get on the board in the first, but ADM took the lead 2-1.
Carlisle would jump out in front after a strong third inning putting in three runs. This gave them the lead 4-3. ADM would then tie the game in the fourth. The game would stay tied at 4 until a big sixth inning for the Tigers. They scored two runs and pulled away with the win, 6-4.
The Tigers will be on the field again tonight. They’ll be on the road against Carroll with first pitch at 6pm.
