An upcoming camp with the Adel Public Library will teach youth about survival skills and there is still a little time left to get registered.

The Survival Skills Camp will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on June 21st at Kuehn Conservation Area in partnership with Dallas County Conservation. Patron Services Manager Amy Puck talks about the program.

“We will have a survival skills camp for sixth through twelfth graders and they are going to teach you your naturalist skills, how to build a fire and how to make shelters.”

This event does require registration and there is limited space to participate but parents are welcome to stay for the program.

For more information or to get registered for the free camp you can go here.
