There will be a chance for residents around the Guthrie County area to find great deals on used items at surrounding garage sales this weekend.
Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce President Shannon Neff-Muell says they teamed up with the Panora Chamber of Commerce to put 31 garage sale locations for customers to find on a map. Neff-Muell says that there is time to pick up the map that lists where every garage sale is located.
“But for shoppers there is no cost (for the map). You can pick up a map at either of the banks in towns, you can pick them up at various businesses throughout the downtown areas so they should be in plenty of spots and then online.”
Neff-Muell says after the garage sales are over the Salvation Army will take any items not sold by the garage sales. The online garage sale map will be listed here.
