The Panorama Panthers Softball and Baseball teams took on the Ogden Bulldogs on Tuesday in a game that was started earlier due to impending weather and both teams fell to the Bulldogs.
The Panthers Softball team was looking for their second win of the season after their game against the AC/GC Chargers on Monday was canceled due to Mother Nature which also made the game take place earlier on Tuesday. The Panthers Softball team battled during the game on Tuesday but fell by a score of 13-5. The Panthers Softball team was able to have a strong first inning by getting five runs across the plate but were unable to get anymore runs across throughout the rest of the game and fell to 1-8 on the year.
The Panthers Baseball team was looking to pick up its fourth win of the year against the Ogden Bulldogs on Tuesday but struggled to get the bats going as they fell by a score of 12-0. The Panthers Baseball team fell to an overall record of 3-6 on the year and will get to play a game today under the big lights when they travel to Principal Park in Des Moines.
The Panthers Softball and Baseball teams will take on Martensdale St. Mary’s today and the girls will be taking them on at home in Panora at Panorama High School while the Panthers Baseball team will get to head to Des Moines and take on the Blue Devils at Principal Park.
