Danny Peel, age 69 of Perry, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. A graveside service will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, IA on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care is caring for Danny’s family. Danny Robert Peel was born on November 7, 1952, at Maywood CA to Lawrence Edward and Sarah Elizabeth (Keith) Peel. He attended school at Savanna High School in Anaheim, CA. He served in the United States Army. He worked at clerk at Casey’s General Store.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Raiders Football.

In death he rejoins his parents, Lawrence and Sarah Peel, son, David Christopher Peel, and a brother, Clarence Wayne Peel.

Left to cherish Danny’s memory are his son, Keith Daniel Siegfried, Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren, Leife, Jazlynn and Kollin Siegfried, sister, LaWanda Jean Nepstad, Urbandale, IA, brother, Craig Lavern Peel, Dixon, MO, sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Peel, many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
