The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center baseball team defeated West Central Valley in convincing fashion Tuesday afternoon

Andrew Mahaffey pitched a solid game going 5 innings strong only allowing 4 hits and 2 earned runs while the defense backed him up with only one error. The Charger bats got going in the third and fourth innings scoring a total of 9 runs on 7 hits. Miles Kading went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and Reid Rumelhart went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and 3 runs batted in. The final score was ACGC 12 and West Central Valley 2. The Chargers improve to a record of (4-5) on the season.

Finally, the ACGC Lady Charger softball team lost to West Central Valley 13 to 2.

The next games for both softball and baseball teams will be at Interstate-35 High School on Thursday, first pitch 5pm.
