The Panorama Panthers Softball and Baseball teams took on the Van Meter Bulldogs on Thursday for a varsity double header.
The Panthers Softball team was looking to pick up their second win of the season when they took on the Bulldogs on Thursday but dropped both games of the double header as Van Meter was able to get solid contact from their bats. The score of the games were 30-10 and 15-2. The Panthers softball team fell to 1-7 on the year so far as they will look to get back in the win column on Monday.
The Panthers Baseball team was also looking to pick up another win in their double header against the Bulldogs but the Panthers also dropped both of the games by scores of 15-6 and 17-1. The Panthers Baseball team fell to an overall record of 3-5 on the year so far.
The Panthers Softball and Baseball teams will get back out on the ball diamond on Monday when they take on the AC/GC Chargers for a Guthrie County rivalry game as both squads will be looking to get a win over their inter-county rival. The games will take place at Panorama High School with junior varsity games to take place ahead of the varsity action.
