Sen. Ernst at Greenfield Water Treatment Plant

US Senator Joni Ernst made multiple stops in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area for her 99 county tour Tuesday morning.

The first visit for Senator Ernst was to the Greenfield Water Treatment Plant in Adair County. She was given a tour of the facility by the Greenfield Municipal Utilities Officials while discussing ways to improve their infrastructure. 

“I think it’s really important that we understand this is a necessity. People need clean drinking water. So I was glad to come out and see? how the plant operates and also see their pilot project.”

Senator Ernst also stopped by Home State Bank in Jefferson to talk with Greene County Development Corporation and other employers about the Greene County Diversity Project, known as “Nueva Vida en Greene County.” It’s an initiative with Latino IQ to attract the Latino population to work, live and play in Greene County.
