2022-bell-tower-festival-2

There are a ton of activities happening during next week’s Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson and registration for several of them are open now.

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Events Team Member Emily Dyer urges everyone to sign up for the popular Jefferson Rotary parade that takes place Saturday, June 11th.

“So we want to get parade floats signed up ahead of time to help out with the Rotary to get that lined up and organized for them. And you get signed up on the website for that, and there’s also some awards/cash prize giveaways for parade floats for this year. So that’s something new that we’re going to try to get people excited and sign up floats for the parade.”

There are five parade categories, including commercial, non-commercial, BTF thematic, Rotary Club Thematic, to recognize Jefferson Rotary’s 100th anniversary with the theme of “Towering in Service for 100 Years;” and best float.

Dyer points out several other registrations with the bags tournament on Friday, June 10th; along with the trivia contest, a barbecue pork rib cook-off, a pickleball tournament, the Greene County Medical Center golf outing and the car show with the Junkyard Cafe all on Saturday, June 11th. Additionally, Dyer says the Jefferson Parks and Recreation has their 3-on-3 basketball tournament and the Ding Dong Dash 5K run/walk registrations are currently open.

Dyer reminds everyone about their fundraising meal on Thursday, June 9th with Lidderdale Country Store and desserts from the Twiins Shop in Jefferson. Dyer notes tickets are $50 per person.

“With that ticket, you get a 16-ounce, 150th year for Jefferson glass, and then also you’ll get some entertainment with some Minute To Win It games, and 2B Unplugged will be playing from 8-10pm.”

More information and how to sign up for all of the activities can be found below.
