Van Meter visits Greene County in non-conference high school baseball tonight in Jefferson at Allensworth Field. The action was added to the schedule recently and the varsity game will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage is to begin shortly after 7 p.m. with first pitch around 7:30 p.m.

VM has several State Championships to its name and is the defending 2A Champion. The 2022 Bulldogs are 8-0 and have out scored the opposition 93-7. VM pitchers have put five shut outs on the board already while the offense has scored 11 or more runs five times including a season high 22.

Greene County is 2-2 overall under the direction of head coach Matt Paulsen. The Rams have alternated losses and victories in the first four games of the season.
