Last week was a hectic one for the West Central Valley Wildcats softball and baseball teams, as they had many games scheduled. Both teams played the Panorama Panthers on Monday, the softball team winning 12-2, and the baseball team winning 11-9. The Tuesday game against the Ogden Bulldogs for both teams was postponed after some storms came through the area.
The teams picked things up again on Friday when they went up against the Southeast Valley Jaguars. The softball team was able to win 5-3, while the baseball team picked up a 3-1 victory. The softball team was the only team to keep things going over the weekend, suffering a 14-0 loss against the Clarinda Cardinals, and bouncing back with a 4-3 win against the Council Bluffs Jefferson Yellow Jackets.
