The Panorama Panthers girls soccer team has officially concluded its successful season after taking on the Des Moines Christian Lions this past Tuesday.
The Panthers girls headed into their matchup against the Lions with a record of 10-5 on the year and were looking to advance to the next round of postseason play in Class 1A Region 3. The Panthers girls concluded their season after a 10-0 loss against the Lions on Tuesday and finished their season out with an impressive record of 10-6 on the year.
At the season’s end, the Panthers girls soccer team will say goodbye to multiple seniors on the team but there were plenty of young faces on the team this year including eight freshman who will look to return next year and offer up experience for the Panthers girls.
This season saw the Panthers girls soccer team shut out an opponent during a victory in more than five matches this year which was half of their victories as well. The Panthers girls also grabbed a victory in the postseason when they took on the Kuemper Catholic Knights in their first round of the postseason and they were able to earn a 2-1 victory.
The Panthers girls soccer team will have plenty to build on next season after a successful year this year and will look to return multiple young faces to the field.
