Tuesday, May 24th
1:01am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 1200 block of Southfield Drive, Jefferson.
8:16am: A deputy struck a deer on 220th Street near 4th in Grand Junction with a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe causing an estimated 12,000 dollars damage.
11:33am: A deputy investigated a complaint of road construction on U Avenue backing traffic up onto 220th Street.
1:55pm: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation in the 500 block of N Avenue.
8:54pm: A deputy investigated a missing juvenile in the 1100 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.
10:20pm: The Sheriff, Deputies, Grand Junction Fire, Greene County Ambulance and Rescue, and Paton Fire responded to a reported single vehicle rollover accident. The caller did not know for sure where the accident was but had an area near 170th Street and X Avenue. Amanda Meyer 34 of Fort Dodge lost control of her 2014 GMC Acadia entering the west ditch on X Avenue and striking a driveway deploying both side airbags. Amanda was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. Amanda was transported to the Greene County Medical Center with suspected injuries by Greene County Ambulance. Alcohol was detected and blood samples were drawn and sent to the DCI Lab. Charges pending lab results.
