Tomorrow is the last day to advertise your yard sale through the local chamber of commerce in Guthrie County.

The Guthrie Center and Panora Chamber of Commerces are teaming up for the 2022 Heart of Guthrie County Garage Sales on June 10th from 3-8pm and June 11th from 8am-3pm. This event allows anyone hosting a garage sale to put their sale on a road map for customers to find it. Those who are going to host a garage sale must enter by tomorrow at 5pm. Panora Chamber Coordinator Jessica Hein explains the benefits of registering your garage sale with them. 

“I know that there’s some people who miss the deadline. You know, things come up and if you hold a garage sale, normally there’s enough traffic that people will swing through and see a sign. But we do encourage those to be on the map. So that way you get a lot of traffic and then you don’t have to unpack your garage sale when you’re done.”

Registrations are accepted  at the Panora City Hall or Guthrie County Abstract and there is an online registration form.
