The Guthrie Center City Council swears in Kris Arrasmith as the new city clerk Monday night.

The Council held a public hearing on the fiscal year 2021-22 budget amendment and approved the item after the hearing. Also, the Council approved the citywide garage sales for June 10th and 11th and the citywide clean-up day for June 15th. The Council tabled the Ron & Sally Sanitation contract to provide a citywide garbage service for further advisement. Finally, the Council heard a noise complaint about the Jake Lake’s diesel truck and fence permit on 902 Oak Street but did not take action on these items.
