The Panorama Panthers girls golf team has concluded an extremely successful season after competing in the second round of regional competition last week.
The Panthers girls found themselves at the Nishna Hills Golf Course in Atlantic to take part in the second round of regionals after they earned a second place finish in the first round of regional competition. The Panthers girls golf team was able to score a team score of 455 at their second round of regionals which put them finishing in fourth place at the meet.
While the second round of regionals didn’t go the way they hoped it would the Panthers girls had a good season overall as Gabby Welberg and Filipa Bobber both had nine hole lows in the 40s and Bobber also had an 18 hole low of 89 on the year as well.
This girls golf team which saw great success this year also has three seniors on the team in Gabby Welberg, Carley Van Gundy and Gracie Phillips who all took their last tee shots as a Panorama Panther golfer after having a successful season this year which included multiple high individual finishes and multiple first place finishes as a team.
The Panthers girls golf team will be looking to golf the summer away as they wait until high school golf comes around again next year with hopes of making it to the state tournament next year.
