After winning their game Monday, the Nodaway Valley-West Central Valley girls soccer team’s season came to an end on Wednesday, after traveling to Des Moines Christian to take on the Lions. The girls started trailing quickly in the first period, as the Lions scored six goals before going into the break, and then scoring four more to end the game 10-0.

The Wildcat boys soccer team had a different turn out for their week, and after an easier win on Tuesday against the PCM Mustangs, they hosted the Panorama Panthers for the first round of Substate play. The Wildcats controlled the first period, taking a 3-0 lead before the break, before continuing in the second period, where they were able to score another goal, and the Panthers grabbed two of their own. The game ended with a 4-2 victory for the Wildcats, and they will continue Substate play on Monday, when they host the Falcons of St. Albert.
