An ongoing series that looks to talk about the history of Perry will have another program next week. 

The Re-Awakening History By Telling Our Own Stories program with Hometown Heritage at the Carnegie Library Museum will have another program running from 6-8 p.m. on May 24th at the Towncraft Building in Perry. 

This program will be focusing on work and will be presented by Perry Public Library Director Mary Murphy and will feature stories told by various people in the community including Perry Fire Department Assistant Chief Brian Eiteman and Mary Murphy among other people. 

This program aims to tell the history of Perry and how living in a small midwestern town influences family, education, work, faith and loss. There are six programs that will be taking place in the series.
