A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00PM, located at the American Legion Hall in Guthrie Center, Iowa.  Flowers, donations, and condolences will be greatly appreciated. Twigg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Greg is survived by his two daughters, Margaret R. Santos, 44, and Sophia D. Paz- Rutherford, 26; and three grandchildren Cristo, Sulis, and Cruz. Siblings left to celebrate his life are Carolyn Preuninger of Florida; Judy Lee of North Carolina; Ted and Mary Rutherford of Urbandale, Iowa; and Doug and Julie Rutherford of Grimes, Iowa. Preceding Greg in death include his parents, Ivan and Geraldine (McCool) Rutherford; bonus son, Jesus De La Paz; and brother-in-laws, Lee Preuninger (Carolyn) and Charles Lee (Judy).
