The Adair County Health Systems wants to spread the word about Mental Health Awareness Month in May by hosting an open house. 

ACHS Program Director for Senior Life Solutions Dianne Allsup says the public event will feature a movie, games and the ability to discuss and schedule a vacation with First National Bank First 50 Club member Jennfer Garside. Allsup explains the theme of the event. 

“The theme is “Take a Vacation From Your Problems.” We just have so much going on and it’s easy to get stressed and so we’re committed to providing excellent care to our community. So we just want to have an open house, welcome people in and talk to them about just some different ways that you can help support your mental health and taking a vacation is one of those ways.”

This a free event from 1:30-3:30pm tomorrow (Thursday) at the Havens Building in Greenfield.
