The Greene County Democratic Party is hosting a candidate meet and greet tonight.

Iowa House District 47 Democrat candidate Gary Overla of Dallas Center is running unopposed in the primary election in the newly redistricted House District 47, which includes western edge of Dallas County, along with Greene and Guthrie counties. Overla is running against Republican Carter Nordman of Adel. Additionally, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Deidre DeJear will be at the event via Zoom.

The meet and greet will take place at Jefferson City Hall at 6pm tonight. No pre-registration is necessary.
