Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys golf participated in district golf on Monday in Decorah in a 30 man field, and the Tigers were able to finish 2nd as a team with a score of 319, qualifying for the state tournament for the 2nd consecutive year.
Sam Hlas was able to lead the way with a 7th place finish, and Easton Korell was right behind him with an 8th place finish. The Tigers were able to stay out of trouble for the majority of the day, as they were able to get some great marks across the board.
Gilbert was able to keep up their remarkable season winning the event with a 305.
The state golf tournament will be happening on May 23th and May 24th at Veekner Memorial Golf Course in Ames. The time on Monday will be at 10:30 am, and the time on Tuesday will be at 9 am, with 10 teams around the state aiming to become the state champion.
