The Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union announced the brackets for the 2022 Soccer Postseason earlier this month, and the Nodaway Valley-West Central Valley team will be playing in the Class 1A – Region 3 bracket. They’ll be participating in the play-in game against the Greene County Rams. If they are able to advance to the first round, their opponent will be the Des Moines Christian Lions, who they went up against earlier this season.

The girls have had a bit of a rough patch in the second half of the season, but have the tenacity to surprise anyone that might underestimate them. Other teams that the Wildcats have faced so far are the Panorama Panthers, and the Kuemper Catholic Knights, who will compete against each other in the first round.
