The girls made an impressive showing in Martensdale Monday night, with 17 top five placements. Freshman Tia Williams came in fifth in the 100 meter dash, with a time of 14.19 seconds, while junior Tasha Williams secured second place in the 200 meter dash, with a time of 28.13 seconds. In the 1500 meter run, freshman Emma Guzinski got fifth place with a time of 7 minutes 41.02 seconds, and freshman Maddie Edgington tied for second place in the 100 meter hurdles, with a time of 18.48 seconds.
Two individuals placed in the 400 meter hurdles, with sophomore Ella Sand taking third with a finishing time of 1 minute 16.25 seconds, and freshman Malia Fuller coming in fourth at 1 minute 19.04 seconds. In the 3000 meter run, sophomore Taitlin Koch placed second with a time of 13 minutes 30.06 seconds, and junior Kinsey Alt secured a first place finish in the long jump, with a distance of 17 feet 2 inches. Two Wildcats placed in the top five again in the high jump, with Fuller placing second at a distance of 4 feet 8 inches, while freshman Zalina Morse tied for third with a distance of 4 feet 6 inches.
The 4X100 meter relay team took fifth with a time of 54.39 seconds, while the 4X200 meter relay team secured second place, with a time of 1 minute 52.83 seconds. The 4X400 meter relay team took fifth place with a time of 5 minutes 3.75 seconds, and the 4X800 meter relay team also took fifth, with a time of 12 minutes 36.69 seconds. The 800 meter medley relay took 4th with a time of 2 minutes 3.81 seconds, while the 1600 meter medley relay team captured fifth with a time of 5 minutes 42.94 seconds. And finally, the 4X100 meter shuttle hurdle relay team took fifth with a time of 1 minute 22.35 seconds
