If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend in Dallas County, the Fiber Festival of Perry is this Saturday.
Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be Atelier at 1109’s Fiber Festival of Perry and will take place at various places including vendors with various goods at the Hotel Pattee along with the Perry Piecemakers Quilt Guild that will have quilts among other things in the Spring Valley Ballroom.
Also, Atelier at 1109 will have a yarn tasting party and stopping by at Soumas Court will teach those attending about fiber collection and sheep shearing along with processing wool and making dyed roving and yarn.
Artists from Atelier at 1109 have also created a yarn bomb that will be on display at 1109 Second Street in Downtown Perry.
