The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center track and field teams went to Nevada for the Merrit-Charger Invitational for one final competition Monday, before the state qualifier meet

The boys team took home third place with 90 points which was 2.5 points behind second place. Many Charger athletes were able to placed high on the podium that includes Austin Kunkle first in the 100 meter dash, Lance Bunde in the high jump and Payton Jacobe second in shot put.

The girls meet did not finish but the Lady Chargers had a few finish in first that include Ava Campbell in the 800 meter run and the 4×400 meter relay team

The state qualifying meet for AC/GC will be at Treynor High School Wednesday against nine other teams.
